Calista Bouvay
Joyce "Dedee" White played Calista Bouvay in the original play of the Jokeress: Emergence. Bouvay is a specialist in psychology as well as an accomplished neurosurgeon. Bouvay is a character who is unstable. She can cure , maime, or kill in the same moment. Bouvay was physically and emotionally transformed by the Nanorod project, for the better and for the worse.
Swann Lee
Geeta Allen portrayed the character of Swann Lee in the original play of The Jokeress: Emergence. Lee is the president and owner of The Perfect Swann, a cosmetics company. Lee is obsessed with skin, and is driven to find the ultimate skin care process. This obsession allowed her to fall into a trap, and become the victim of an attempted takeover of her company. Like Bouvay, she is physically and emotionally altered. She is in a constant struggle as how to satisfy her obsession, whether it be the right way or the wrong way.
Louise "Louse" Vann
Susan Alden portrays Louise "Louse" Vann in the original play of The Jokeress: Emergence. Louse is an expert in biochemical warfare. She actually enjoys making biochemical weapons, be they for the good or the bad of mankind. Like Bouvay and Lee, she was a victim or guinea pig of the initial Nanorod project. As a victim, she gained a power to shape shift into different human forms. This power is still evolving.
